The role
As a solutions engineer, you don’t just “deploy” software; you design and implement the automated behavior of complex network and datacenter services.
- Solution Development: Work with the engineering team to build Proof of Concepts (PoC), Minimum Viable Products (MVP) up to end-to-end customer solutions for next-gen technologies like autonomous networks, 5G and zero-trust networks (ZTN).
- Service Modeling: Use Inmanta’s orchestration agent to model how services should behave, ensuring they can be provisioned, managed, monitored, and scaled automatically.
- Systems Integration: Build the "glue" that connects our platform to 3rd party systems and multi-vendor equipment, ensuring a seamless end-to-end flow.
- Quality & Testing: Contribute to the full lifecycle of a solution, from automated testing and CI/CD pipelines to providing technical feedback that shapes our core product roadmap.
- Customer Collaboration: Work directly with partners and customers to translate their business requirements into robust technical implementations

Required technical expertise
- Software craftmanship: Strong software development skills, with a deep focus on object-oriented programming (OOP). You write code that is clean, modular and maintainable.
- Architectural Mindset: A solid understanding of distributed systems and how different software components communicate across a network.
- Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar in experience
- Bonus Points: Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, or agile methodologies, and experience in the telecom or enterprise networking space.
